Laser Welded Dry Socket Core Drill Bit

The Laser Welded Dry Socket Core Drill Bit is designed for short-depth drilling in concrete, brick, block and masonry. Common diameters of 68 mm, 72 mm and 82 mm make it suitable for electrical socket openings and general installation holes.

The compact 80–95 mm body supports controlled drilling in shallow wall applications without requiring water cooling.

  • Laser-welded diamond segments
  • Short 80–95 mm core bit body
  • Dry drilling without water supply
  • Available in 68 mm, 72 mm and 82 mm
  • Two segment size options
  • M16, M22 and 5/8″ connections

Frequently Asked Questions

Which diameter is suitable for electrical socket installation?

The 68 mm and 72 mm sizes are commonly selected for electrical socket openings. The 82 mm option is suitable for larger installation holes. Always confirm the required opening size before ordering.

Does the core bit require water?

No. It is designed for dry drilling. Connect a suitable dust extraction system to control dust and remove drilling debris.

What is the difference between the two segment options?

The available segment heights are 10 mm and 12 mm. The appropriate option depends on the drilling material, machine power and required service life.

Can it drill reinforced concrete?

The standard specification is not recommended for steel reinforcement or heavily reinforced concrete.
