Designed for drilling clean installation holes in granite and natural stone, the Laser-Welded Dry Diamond Core Bit combines laser-welded cutting segments with vacuum-brazed diamond protection strips on the steel barrel.
The brazed side protection helps reduce direct barrel contact with the stone and protects the steel core during drilling. Standard diameters range from 20 mm to 102 mm.

Is the complete core bit vacuum brazed?
No. The cutting segments are laser welded to the steel barrel. Vacuum-brazed diamond strips are added to the side of the barrel for protection.
